1.祁州漏芦 含挥发油。

2．华东蓝刺头 根含挥发油，已分离出24种成分：柠檬烯（limonene），薄荷酮（menthone），异薄荷酮（isomenthone），胡薄荷酮（pulegone），ξ-愈创木烯（ξ-guaiene），α-及β-檀香萜烯（santa-lene），葎草烯（humulene），表-β-檀香萜烯（epi-β-santalene），反式丁香烯（caryophyllene），α-香柑油烯（α-bergamotene），须式-β-金合欢烯（β-farnesene），丁香烯氧经物（caryophyllene oxide），苯并（1，2：5，4）联噻吩，6，10，14-三甲基-2-十五碳烯（6，10，14-TCMLIBimethyl-2-pentadecene），5-（3-丁烯-1-炔基）联噻吩[5-(3-buten-1-ynyl)bithiophene]，邻苯二甲酸二丁酯（dibutlphyhalate），十产烷酸（hexadecanoic acid），9，12-十八碳二烯酸甲酯（methyl9，12-octadecadienoate），9-十八碳烯酸甲酯（methyl 9-octdecenoate），9-12-十八碳二烯酸（9，12-octadeca-dienoic acid），α-三联噻吩（α-terthiophene）。还含5（4-O-异戊酰-1-炔基）联噻吩[5-(4-O-isopentanoylbutyn-1-yl)-2，2-bithio-phene]，异卡多帕亭（isocardopatine），卡多帕亭（cardopatine），5-（3，4-二羟基-1-丁炔基）-2，2-联噻吩[5-（3，4-dihydroxybutyn-1-yl）-2，2-bithiophene]。又含地榆糖甙（ziyulucoside）I，蒲公英赛醇乙酸酯（taraxerol acetate），熊果酸（ursonic acid），三十烷酸（TCMLIBiacon-tanoic acid）β-谷甾醇（β-sitosterol），胡萝卜甙（darcosterol）。

3．新疆蓝刺头 根含生物碱：卡多帕亭，异卡多帕亭。蓝刺头碱（echinopsine），蓝枣砂定碱（echinopsidine），蓝刺头胺（echinoramine），蓝刺头醚碱（echinorine）。又含三萜成分：α-香树脂醇（α-amyrin），α-香树脂醇乙酸酯（α-amyrin acetate），β-谷甾醇（β-sitosterol），胡萝卜甙（daucosterol），冬青叶豚草酸（ilicic acid），木香酸（costic acid）。种子含蓝刺头宁碱（echinine）。
